Shane O'Neill defeats MacDonnells at Glenshesk.^[1]
Shane O'Neill marches from Antrim through the mountains by Clogh to the neighbourhood of Ballycastle, where he routs the MacDonnells at the Battle of Glentasie and takes Sorley Boy MacDonnell prisoner.
